The Wolf and Me is an autobiographical graphic medicine comic I did describing my experience living with lupus (sle).

The story takes the reader by the hand through the mythological world of metaphors and strong iconography. Lupus, meaning "wolf", exists as a character throughout the story. It is a book about pain and darkness but also about light and hope. One does not have to suffer from a chronic disease to identify with the dark moments and deep insights that comes from life.

My goal with the book is to spread awareness of lupus and what it is like to live with an invisible chronic disease. I also hope to inspire people to live a fuller and more empathic life.
